Papa Irene

è Dottoranda in Educazione (Beni culturali, formazione e territorio) presso l’Università di Roma – Tor Vergata. Dopo essersi laureata in Lingue e Letterature Moderne presso l’Università degli Studi di Torino, con una tesi in Pedagogia Generale sul rapporto tra autorità e libertà nei processi formativi, ha lavorato e lavora come libera professionista nell’ambito della traduzione. I suoi interessi di studio vertono sull’interrelazione tra potere, sapere e formazione, con particolare riferimento agli sviluppi della teoria critica e dei cultural studies.

PhD student in Education (Cultural Heritage, Education and Territory) at the University of Rome Tor-Vergata. After the Master Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Turin, with a dissertation in General Education on the relationship between authority and freedom in educational processes, she worked and currently works as freelance translator. Her main field of research is on the relationships between power, knowledge and education, with particular reference to the developments of Critical Theory and Cultural Studies.
